    Food was lackluster to say the least... All menu listings were NOT available especially the 5 vegetarian options. What was available was made with frozen verses freshly cut vegetables. Whomever selects the cut of meat especially chicken, should be better informed. Chicken skin should NEVER be a part of a patrons meal!!! STOP BEING CHEAP AND USING CHICKEN WINGS FOR YOUR CURRY CHICKEN!!!

    Food is excellent. Very busy. Service is great. Prices are very reasonable. Excellent variety of food. Only problem is the parking.

    Dunns River was recommended by a Jamaican friend. We thought we knew good Jamaican food but were re-educated. Dunns River has a large menu, a nice place to sit down and a really good business, there was a continuous line for food while we were there. The jerk chicken was great and the plantains a great side. The conch soup that is served on Friday different than Bohemian conch chowder, it is good, different but good.

    I absolutely hate this place the customer service always suck the ladies always treat you like you sleeping with they man or something I don’t know y’all I just wanna eat ... then I ask for extra cucumbers in my salad and I only had 2 in there I had no problem paying for the extra if they couldn’t do it they should of said it. I will never step foot back in this restaurant again I don’t recommend it smh

    I’m Jamaican and I can say their food besides my moms is some of the best Jamaican food I have ever had. Nice staff, always! Food is always hot and has variety! The sit down atmosphere is also nice if you want to eat in, you’re served restaurant style. Again, the food is great! Their cornmeal & plantain porridge is to die for!!! Best Jamaican restaurant in Hartford! Highly recommended. The lines can be long so calling in is the best option, in my opinion.
